Thirty Questions 'Bout Ma 30 Top Bands!!!

    1. How did you get into 29?
Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti: Well hey, I actually remember this pretty well! It was back at the beginning of last november, and I was looking at Eric Fensler's website to the video for Politely Declined that he made. I immediately fell in love with the video and the song. It's still definitely my fave Ariel Pink song.

    2. What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
Krisiun: Wow, I totally know this too! It was Ominous cuz it was on a Century Media Sample I got with Napalm Death's Code is Red. Though it honestly wasn't until I heard them play it live that I really fuckin loved em.

    3. How many albums by 13 do you own?
Kraftwerk Shit, I don't really know. A lotta their stuff my friends ripped for me and stuff, but I did by a few live shows and early stuff from Malcolm, the vendor who comes to Bard every so often. I dunno how many really, maybe ten... maybe less.

    4. What is your favorite song by 15?
  • Mentally Ill & Physically Disabled Artists

    15 Mar 2008, 07:50 by Zer0_II

Eventually I'll be putting together a compilation of mentally ill and physically disabled artists. As far as mental illness is concerned, these can be either artists who were officially diagnosed with an illness such as schizophrenia, or those who are obviously mentally ill, yet were never officially diagnosed. However I will not be including artists who behaved erratically due to the influence of drugs. This list is as much for myself as it is anyone else, so if you know of any artists that deserve to be on the list, please leave a comment. I will continue to update this list as I discover new artists, and receive recommendations.

    Roky Erickson - Schizophrenia
    Alexander "Skip" Spence - Schizophrenia
    Syd Barrett - Schizophrenia
    Wild Man Fischer - Schizophrenia
    Tom Harrell - Schizophrenia
    Josef Hassid - Schizophrenia
    Charles Manson - Undiagnosed
    Wesley Willis - Schizophrenia
    David Helfgott - Schizophrenia

Back this evening from seeing the Wild Man Fischer documentary "Derailroaded". A sad story, but a really enjoyable film for anyone with as much as a passing interest in Larry. I didn't know he'd sung a duet with Rosemary Clooney!

Interesting footage of Frank Zappa too
