    BEAUTIFUL. An incredible Vicodin-and-migraine-induced vision/nightmare.

The power of that solo gives me the old goosers

The tag "alt-country" cracks me up. Wilco hasn't been that, whatever that is, since "Being There," and only parts of that were considered country-ish.

Rarely do I ever "rewind" a song. But every time I hear that solo I have to go back and listen to it again. Absolutely beautiful. Glad I'm not the only one who finds it so important.

I put this (well the album version) on a playlist I compiled for my blog. http://www.mattischro.me/2010/09/playlist-1-metallic/ The MP3s should be available until 15/09/10.

That solo is utterly fantastic. So minimalist in execution, yet so damn emotional, complimented by all the other components of the song of course. Extremely underrated track for sure.

KT version is so powerful, beats the album (well, most versions on KT do :) )

Pretty weird song, even for AGIB. My second favorite Wilco track after Muzzle of Bees, I'll come with you Jeff...to hell and back.

solo is just incredible. it's only about 15 notes, but it has more feelings than..than.. i don't know, it's probably one of the best guitars parts ever.

Dunno why. But, the way the guitar solo comes in reminds of Maggot Brain by Funkadelic...

Interesting concept, reminiscent of the screw tape letters in an odd organizational way. also the idea that hell, if it was so shitty, wouldn't be so terrible, as you'd have no hope. Anyone who owns a motorcycle or an old classic car can tell you that chrome requires a lot of maintenance and upkeep... and in that worry of perfection, true anger and frustration exist. A world made of chrome, would certainly piss the shit out of me... might as well make it leather in the rain while we're at it.
