When Machines Dream was founded as a side project of John Mendenhall in the late 1990’s and has been his primary musical project since 2005. The music of When Machines Dream combines elements of techno, dance, electro and new wave that results in a sound that is both modern and reminiscent of classic electronic/ dance music. When Machines Dream music has been featured in the video games Pump It Up, iDance and the unreleased In The Groove 3. When Machines Dream has performed live all over the world.
