WeirdGear are a synthesiser band based in Essex that use 1970s & 1980s analogue synthesizers and drum machines to make their music. They always perform their original material COMPLETELY LIVE; that is without any pre-recorded backing. They have performed regularly in London, across the UK and at Festivals.
WeirdGear decided after spending time working together for their own amusement, it would be good to start playing some gigs from 2007, initially to see if people would enjoy their sound as much as they do. They recently featured on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson with the honour of closing his weekend show
