if you're in the mood for lyrics which literally bleed saccharine from their veins and the very blandest of alt/idie/rock/whateverthehellitis music then this is the album for you ~ otherwise head back to Maladroit or Pinkerton

This album kind of made me a Weezer/Cuomo apologist, although the next 2 albums made ambivalent about that. Yes to the props for TISAP & Perfect Situation, but The Other Way is on par with those two. tbf I find the album a slight upswing from the sometimes messy and unmemorable Maladroit.
