We Rock Like Girls Don’t are back in action following time out in 2011 due to Ros having a major operation and headline CLIT ROCK at The Lexington, London on 20th November.

The band began when Glaswegian guitarist/ vocalist Ros Cairney advertised for a Rock’n’Roll Freak in London paper Loot and met her match in London/ Greek drummer Vas Antoniadou.

Initially a trio, the band released two self - financed 7” singles ROCK’N’ROLL FREAK and I JUST WANNA STICK MY HEAD IN THE BASS DRUM, and infiltrated the final of Onemusic Unsigned on daytime Radio 1.

After a period of what one might call ‘musical differences’ they downsized to a duo and released third single VIOLENCE in October 2008. Self- financed debut album HOW DID IT GET TO THIS followed to underground critical acclaim in March 2009.

The pair spent 2009 touring the UK, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Italy, including a slot at the Leffingeleuren Festival in Belgium. In August 2009 the band signed to DOMINO PUBLISHING COMPANY.

The band recorded follow up double A side single WELCOME TO MY WORLD/ FEELING LONELY NOW with Sleater-Kinney producer John Goodmanson at Two Sticks Studios, Seattle. It was released on 26th April 2010 via Cargo on all major download services.
