Biography

WE KILLED VEGAS is a rock duo from Virginia consisting of Davie Edwards on guitar and Dwayne Hall on drums. Choosing to allow their influences of prominent rock bands like Zeppelin, Hendrix, and Stevie Wright shine through, they create what they call their own brand of “guitar rock”. While heavily-laden with guitar, their music is characterized by very danceable beats and rhythms similar to the garage bands of the 60’s and 70’s like The Kinks and The Sonics. Considering themselves more of songwriters than a band, they record a “full band” sound with bass and multiple guitar and percussion tracks to create “the best possible music that they can”. This is achieved by fill-in and touring members live. They are currently recording their second album and plan to release it in February followed by very extensive touring internationally in 2012.
