we™ fanatics: we™ deserves its own page. correct ALL of the we™ songs under 'we' as 'we™', like I did. and we'll have ourselves a proper shrine to ny's (truly) finest.

Did I really just listen to a group with a '™' in the name? That's even worse than the witch house triangles.

I heard "As Is" back in the 90s when it came out and I was still an impressionable youth in the IDM heyday. Over the years it has clearly emerged as my all-time favorite IDM-related album. (Of course I well understand the limitations of that categorization.) Often I have felt a bit sad that it seems to be forgotten and lost to history. I've found little evidence of any cult following for this album on the interwebs. I feel alone in my passions for this albums, perhaps some kind of arbitrary nostalgia. The 2nd and 3rd albums are wonderful too, but it seems like that first album was one of the ultimate synergistic debut masterpieces, a total bomb dropped on the universe. Every single track completely wrecks my brain and I feel like I can listen to it on repeat for ever and ever. When the beat kicks in in "Tombs" it's so ridiculously massive! And 3/10th is one of the sickest avant-jungle cuts ever!
