Water's Edge started as a 3 piece in 2007 with vocalist/acoustic guitarist Lee Hawker, drummer Richard Burford and multi-instrumentalist Andy Liles on bass, lead guitar and keyboards.

We have played around Cumbria and the north at such venues as Theatre by the Lake, Kirkgate Centre, Cock Rock, Solfest and the Live and Unsigned national semi final in Newcastle.

Lead guitarist Stuart Sidney joined us in 2009 allowing the band to expand its sound. In 2011 Andy Liles left and was replaced on bass by Graham Bell. Since 2012 the band has expanded further with Shelagh Hughes on keyboard, viola and vocals and with Andy Hughes on saxophone and vocals.

More recently, Graham Bell has moved on and the focus is now on gigging and finishing our latest album 'Silent Applause' which is due for release summer 2014.
