No Balls is Drajan Bryngelsson and Dan Råberg from Brainbombs. Filthy and monotonous protopunk. Drums and guitars, with some vocals and trumpets thrown in occasionally. Kind of like a mix of Brainbombs and DNA. Raw and intense.
Deaf Wish began in a soggy West Melbourne rehearsal room in May 2007, standing around screaming and bashing through songs with one solid philosophy: ‘go to feedback’ when things fall apart. After a handful of rehearsals, they recorded 10 songs and played 2 shows. Then guitar player Sarah Hardiman flew to the UK and never came back.
Noise rock band from Melbourne/Adelaide featuring ex/current members of Paul of Blood, Whitehorse, Hardy Coxon, Winter Carnation and George W. Bush. The band holds together fuzzed out distorted guitar and blownout vocals with a strong, driving rhythm section.
ZOND are a maximum volume, minimalist soundrock group based in Melbourne, Australia. They are named after a member of the group's childhood dog and/or a Hi-God People track and/or satellite of the USSR. Their live shows and recordings vary from screaming punk car crash to dark ambient alloy radiation field hum: all that can be known in advance is the intensity of the performance.
Formerly called Jodi Moore as a tribute to an acquaintance who didn't want the honour of seeing her name in the street press, The Stabs acquired their new name not long after starting to play irregular gigs at small Melbourne venues around 2003.
