Washington Disease

Washington Disease was a hardcore band from Skien, Norway. They were the first band out of the prolific Grenland straight edge scene to release a record, 1993’s No need to care 7”. They also released a split EP with Wasteaway from Asker. Both records were released on the bands own X-cluded Music label. The lineup consisted of Andrè Bjørnsrud (vocals), Truls Berg (drums), and brothers Martin Kvist (guitar) and Jon Vegard Kvist (bass). After the breakup in 1993 the members went on to play in Ambition, Insurance Risk, Onward, Amulet, DIEDIEDIE, Common Cause and Case of Pride.
