First listen to this album knowing nothing about the credits was surreal. "That's... doesn't seem to make sense, but that's... Jerry, isn't it?" Next track, "noooo way - Gilmour!" And before the album's out, Neil fucking Young. My three favorite guitarists on one record. Witness, witness whom the Zevon commands.

There are many strong cuts on here, "Splendid Isolation," "Networking," and "Turbulence," but the high-point is the closing ballad, "Nobody's In Love This Year." surprisingly, it has held up very well.
