Agreed, they were so much more to those people that bought their CD's and got past Mexican Radio to the core of their sound and lyrics.

"through the bones of the buffalo / through the claims of the western de-ad" Simply put, one of the greatest songs ever and one of the greatest band-defining songs ever... "I used to be somebody, God DAMN you! Don't walk away!!!!"

Slicker than Stan's solo version..and maybe a bit more "Morricone"...but the song remains the same: great!

Love this band! all you hear is Mexican radio. The rest of there music is so much deeper! Stan Rigeway is a great story teller!

this, you know i still don't understand why people aren't ripping this style of music off. it's just so brilliant, it's a style unto itself. The most underated band in the world.

call me weird, but i actually like WOV better when founder/poetic genius/80s icon Stan Ridgeway left and Andy Prieboy took over the vocals. check out their Ugly Americans in Australia live album and you may/may not agree

Arguably, the best song to come out of the eighties.
