It all began in 2001. It was not just about us together, but what we were going to achieve. We did not want to reinvent rock, we wanted to create a sound of our own, a sound to be proud of. And now we have it done. There is a 60’s garage sound echoing in our songs, mixing with the 70’s punk and rebel spirits, 80’s dance rhythms and that desperate plea for individuality of the 90’s grunge and emo.

It took us 5 years of basement practices and “for friends only” gigs to master our skills and vibe and charisma. We had several line-up changes, which dramatically lowered the speeds we were gaining. But after we were joined by Kirill in 2004 and Vanya in 2005, the band just could not be stopped. Finally we reinvented our sound; we caught that flow, which led us to the music we play today. Through the whole 2005 we composed, taped, gathered and demo’ed material in preparations for our first record.

Our main goal is to expose our music to as wide audience as possible. We don’t strive to impress critics and snobs, we don’t need to be fancy and chart friendly. We do what we do and what we are best at - making hook-driven, melodic and energetic rock and roll music. We don’t follow the rules, we write our own, do everything to reach the world levels of quality and go beyond. So jump in and take an unforgettable ride to the world of wahdafunkz!? Our live perfomances are always an energetic show with lots of testosterone, melody and at the same time a friendly chat with old friends and new ones, an exchange of smiles, jokes and moods.
