Weka is an electronic artist/sound designer based in Wellington, New Zealand.

Weka started his musical journey at age 6, when he began piano lessons. From there it sparked a lifetime passion for music. He has been influenced by multitudes of artists over the years from many different genres, and is currently trying to create a diverse range of music in order to solidify his own unique style.
He completed his Honours degree in Music majoring in Sonic Arts (or electronic music composition) at the New Zealand School of Music at the end of 2009; he then embarked on a relatively short jaunt into the edgy world of the AV industry. This was a very enlighting time for Weka, to say the least!
In 2011, Weka aim’s to have a EP completed, to further create the best parties he can with his promotional group No Ordinary Moment along with his good friend Leo (Double Helix/Mufasa) and to continue an installation project, which was started (but not completed) during his university days.
