Voltaire Twins are a four-piece indie dance band from Perth, Australia composed of twin brother and sister Tegan and Jaymes, along with their good friends Matt and Jack.
After being Unearthed by Triple J in 2008, they went on to high profile tours and supports with Ladytron, Maximo Park, Tim & Jean and Art vs Science, as well as festival slots at Laneway Festival, Parklife, Groovin the Moo, Summadayze and Good Vibrations.
Their latest release, the self-produced EP Romulus was released in late 2011. The single Animalia made a huge splash both on Australian and US indie radio. Viewers of ABCTV’s Rage voting it the 7th best video of 2011.
Recent remixes by Lifelike and Moullinex have seen the band become splashed across just abound every blog worth mentioning.
The band toured the US and Canada in March 2011, including SXSW and Canadian Music Week.
