Brant doesn't dominate this too much, impressive that they maintained the soul of Kyuss after so many years. if they all could finally get along that would be nice.

This is basically a heavy Brant Bjork record with Garcia singing. Not everyone's cup of tea I guess. Brant wrote at least half (or possibly most) of Blues for the Red Sun, so there would have to be some Kyuss similarities but keep in mind this is 22 years later. Unlikely to be any sequel to this due to Garcia and Bjork having a falling out of sorts. Shame, this was a kick-ass record. But very DIY in true Brant style hence the lo-fi production.

Of course I haven't gotten this from reliable sources so feel free to check what I've written.

@mefurgly the reason the suit was filed was because they were trying to steal the name from Josh Homme. He would go to their concerts and the likes, and he supported them, meanwhile they went behind his back to take the name. If you look at my profile you'll see I have a lot of listens to QotSA and so you would probably say I biased, and I am, but I try not to be. I've been trying to find out exactly why everything happened the way it did, and the information I've gather obviously has a few holes in it, but hopefully it's somewhat accurate.
