The Visionary Brotherhood are a global hip-hop collective, which began as recording artist / producer Ads (Pembs, Wales) throwing tracks together for MC’s and DJ’s to showcase their talents on. In the last six years, the brotherhood has bloomed into an ever expanding conglomerate of eclectic, talented and colourful musicians, producers and poets, including Philly based conscious MC Deric ‘Dums’ Norgren, Florida terror-wrist Justin ‘DJ 6-cents’ Abare and Pembs’ own Benjamin ‘Bagpipe Whiskey’ Mason.

SUBMERSED IN SUBVERSION (2007) was the first release. This was Dums’ speedy, reflective, finger-pointing critique of American collective consciousness, George Bush Jnr and all American history before him, over Ads’ dark, heavy British breaks.
ECLECTIC PERSPECITVES (2009) was the follow up. This is a much more upbeat affair, and musically chronicles Ads’ colourful five years living in Cardiff. It involves a bigger cast of characters and is, as the title suggests, much more eclectic!
