About this album
Comin’ Home is the only CD released by Vic Sadot’s Planète Folle Band. It has traditional Cajun songs, serveral Zydeco songs, and two original New Orleans R&B songs penned by Vic Sadot, Bourbon Street and Beer Muscles.
The project involved 19 musicians in the Mid-Atlantic area of the USA over a two year period: Vic Sadot, Mike Reynolds, Dave Sumner, Sam Chic, Chris Sherlock, Earle Browne, Joe Yakaneck, Hank Carter, Michael Salzburg, Dennis Hertzog, Roberta Greenspan, Billy Myers, Monty Cullum, Rob Sadot, Rob Chirnside, Tris Hovanec, Ed Gorski, Greg Troiano, and Bret Perkins.
Planète Folle came into existence in 1992 when Delaware-based Vic returned from travels in southwestern Louisiana and decided to organize a group to specialize in the traditional Cajun/Zydeco French roots music that is unique to Louisiana. In 1997 Planète Folle released a 16 song CD titled Comin’ Home. Most of the songs were traditional or popular Louisiana songs. It has 4 original Vic Sadot songs, including the popular Bourbon Street/Rue Bourbon and the children’s beloved Frog Jog.
The “Comin’ Home” CD is no longer available as a CD, but songs can be purchased in the mp3 format at CD Baby where it was posted when it came out in 1997:

The 1998 Philadelphia Folk Festival program guide put it like this:
“What Planète Folle gives you is sweet Cajun soul mixed with hot Zydeco pepper! They will take you cruising through the Bayou back roads to that swamp party where the good times roll! You will feel like you’ve been carried off to a traditional “Fais Do Do”
