An awesome bone player; unique tone and wry wit. You can't go wrong with [album artist=Vic Dickenson]The Essential Vic Dickenson[/album], from his '50's period. Check out his work on [album artist=Coleman Hawkins]Hollywood Stampede[/album], a Hawk date from the '40's; an all 'round Desert Isle recording in its own right.
