“On the Street Where You Live” is a song with music by Frederick Loewe and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner from the 1956 Broadway musical My Fair Lady. It is sung in the musical by the character Freddy Eynsford-Hill, who was portrayed by John Michael King in the original production. In the 1964 film version, it was sung by Bill Shirley, dubbing for actor Jeremy Brett.

Hello craigguzzi. I'm afraid that on this occasion your Dad is wrong. It is most definitely Vic Dmone. I bet he's usually right though.

Talking about rappers, little, if any ,of their stuff, clever as some might be, will survive to be listened to and/or sung in 50 years time. Unlike this song, which is already more than 50 years old and WILL be sung/listened to in 50 years time. Quality will out.

Check bio - there's a rapper named Vic Damone, too. Sinatra felt Damone had the "best pipes" of crooners.

Yes, and I shall visit the street where the the good lady cd resides.... I shall easily be recognised as I shall become, as the song says, several storeys high and will therefore be noticeable. A great prospect................ :)
