Veteran Flashbax was a crappy punk band from the exciting late 90's skatepunk scene in Agoura, California.
They played way too fast, and tried to squeeze far too many lyrics into very small spaces.
In spite of these shortcomings, they managed to convince 206 Records to sign them and release an album entitled "Living in a Bubble", which exactly describes growing up in the Conejo Valley. After one west coast tour, and growing success, with an offer for a second record to be paid for entirely by the label, they did the logical thing and broke up.
Members of this band have gone on to play for or manage a number of other bands, including A Wilhelm Scream, The Fixtures, Majority Lost, and The Shell Corporation.
