Vera Loca is a southern Brazil rock band. Formed by Fabrício Beck (vocals), Diego Dias (keyboards), Mumu (bass), Hernan González (guitar) and Leandro Schirmer (drums).
Musically and lyrically, the rock from southern Brazil, also known as Gaucho Rock, seems influenced by British Invasion Bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Oasis. However, It’s possible to identify musical variations as hard rock and bossa nova in the members influences.
The group recorded two albuns with label, each one preceded by two independent works.
Maria Lúcia, your first single, shows the potential of their songs, confirmed by a successful debut album: Meu Toca-Discos Se Matou (2002), who was critically acclaimed.
