A culmination of efforts from Rick “stitch” Thomas of Mushroomhead, Daniel Fox, Matt Foran of Circus of Dead Squirrels, John Sustar and Kyle Kotarski.

Self Produced with the help of Mushroomhead’s mastermind Steve “skinny” Felton, their collaborations contain the influences and professionalism to be expected from such affiliations. {Spanish for Window} VENTANA represents a time where we see not only the past, but also a slight reflection of our future in the dusty glass. Our efforts exist for no other reason but to bring back the type of music that inspires the listener to turn a negative situation into a positive one. The music of honesty, the music of brutal sincerity that allowed us to follow our hearts into the whirlpool that is “The Industry”.

We have been waiting in the shadows to release what we consider to be a demon that reflects a demon within us all. We behold the window into our own souls and this primal sound being channelled through. Our fans have kept the fires burning beneath our streets for so long that we have overcome adversity and continue to put our efforts into a sound that we feel represents what we want and what our fans demand.

Villainous undertones and murderous inclinations resound throughout our compositions. The lives of alienation and degradation that have brought us here shall now lead us. To understand Ventana is to experience the direct connection we are establishing between our nature and the world we have come to reject. As for words to describe the sound of Ventana, Just listen…

    I find this death metal band oddly relaxing. It makes me dream of kicking back on a beach, sipping a pina colada and ogling hot Brazilian girls. Most metal acts seem really angry and hard, but I'm really digging this relaxation vibe they've got going, keep up the good work and I'll see you on a tropical beach.

    Although he was a bit condescending in his way of saying it, wasting_death is actually right. There are tons of pages all across Last.FM where there are multiple artists of the same name, most of whom clash in terms of genres/styles.

    @wasting_death, he's not fucking whining he's trying to get this page corrected because he doesn't want Ventana associated with beach music, so if you think ventana is a "little bitch metal band" then why are you commenting on their page? Their probably better than 90% of the pussy shit bands that you listen to, and i wouldn't even consider them metal, their more industrial sounding to me

Last.fm Encompasses all artists of the Name Ventana into one page, if it bothers you so much then release your music to Last.FM and bolster it's popularity to ensure it plays on your station (Since what last.fm plays is based solely on user popularity).
