Welcome to Hell is more raw and evil, as black metal should be, thus it has more right to be called black metal than the second album, despite that it does have dark atmospheres as well.

This is not any kind of BM. They record only one song sound like BM it's call "Black Metal" and even that is more thrash than BM. But in the Mayhem's interpretations it sounds like real BM ;P Still "Welcome to Hell" is a great album in good mood ;)
