Biography

Velorium was formed on the Christmas of 2005 by two girls. They composed some lyrics about bands corrupted by the media and own experiences and soon got famous all over the internet. The brazilian label Massacration Records signed a contract with them and they released the album “Stront Uit Je Moederneukende Kont Recht In Je Gezicht”. The album soon was downloaded by lots and lots of people all over the world, and some devoted fans did translations of their english lyrics to danish, norweigian, german, french, dutch and, surely, portuguese. You can find them going to: www.vagalume.com.br/velorium Velorium’s first single is Gayrelation. The picture of the single’s cover was took by Juoppous and is a orelhão. The edition in shades of red and orange was made by Biakdaverium. It reminds of hell. This single made an amazing sucess and soon was replaced by Bananas Fall First. A ballad that talks about the fruit banana, and shows its ascension and its fall. The single cover is a beautiful banana with corpse paint and long hair, with a tatoo writen “Tr00”. One more time took by the amazing photographer Juoppous. The single is the most downloaded song of Massacration Record’s site. With just one cd, Velorium captivated fans all over the world just spreading their music on internet and they’re soon composing the next songs for the next cd, which has no name yet. They’re also doing soon a tour all over the world, including places like The Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Zimbabwe and lots more.
In 2009 Velorium released an EP called "The Bananas Renassaice" featuring new songs such as I Kissed a Mendigo and Cohab. The successful EP was just a preview of their new album, which has been released in 2010. The title of the new album is: En tiggers spyt karamelliseret med banan serveret i tusmørket af en synkende ø.
Some songs of the new album are already classics: RIP Murat (song about the Kazakh singer Murat Nasyrov), Online Class (song dedicated to their dear friend Glaucio) and their new single Party in Tuvalu, the song was written in Velorium's most recent tour in Tuvalu.
