I'm pretty sure that when I first listened to this CD back in high school, I had no idea who most of the artists were. Revisiting it nearly 20 years later, I'm impressed by the line-up: Nick Cave, Frank Black, Elvis Costello & Brian Eno! This is also the CD that first introduced me to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, for which I am eternally grateful.

I'd forgotten about the secret tracks on this CD (not listed here). Lifted from an Amazon review: There are two hidden tracks before the first track. These can be found by rewinding from Track 1 past 0:00 into "negative time". When you get to -9:15 let go and there are two new songs. One is by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds called "Time Iesum Transeuntem et non Reverendem" (Dread the passage of Jesus for he will not return) and the other one is by The Dirty Three and is a version of the X-Files Theme. The trick is having a CD player that will let you scan back that far.

Here looking for a track I found on Napster probably going on 10 years ago. Looked here: about 4 years ago. At this point, now looking for the same thing. A song which explains the conspiracy premise of the X-Files.

Wow I know I was about 7 or 8 years old when my dad got this on cd, it had a nice fold-up inside it featuring the Smoker. I used to continuously listen to Sheryl Crow, Foo Fighters and Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Actually I think this is what got me into early Foo Fighters in the first place.
