A bit late to this party, but I agree with the many remarks about this being an underrated jewel. I've had it on vinyl for years, just got an mp3 turntable recently and now it's in my iPod...loving it!! (it was available for listening here but no more? Bring it back!!)

I absolutely LOve this Album, Superb! And agreed... Movements One and Four are amazing... I am very saddened to see that this album is no longer available to listen to here on stream... I believe this most Classic of Albums deserves to touch a wider audience, the commercial success of Blade Runner and Chariots of Fire greatly overshadow this work in my opinion.

I've had this LP sitting with my collection for a while, and just put it on for the first time. With in moments of Movement One, I knew this was a gift of the world.

This was the first album of Vangelis I ever bought. I knew his work already. Boy, this was a surprise. Soil Festivities (and especially the first and fourth tracks) really stand out in his oeuvre. It's a great ambient music!
