Vance, is a singer, songwriter and performer who has entertained audiences
for many years as a solo performer and with other groups. In 1986 The
Monkees recorded and made a million seller of Vance’s song, “That Was
Then, This Is Now” as the theme for their comeback tour.
Vance has a sound of his own and a versatility that goes beyond the songs
of one style of music, illustrating his influence by songwriters and artists
spanning decades. He’s known for his keen lyrical sense and perfectly
arranged harmonies.
His reent “You asked for it, you got it!” series of single releases, “The
Best of Vance,” features Vance’s amazing vocal and songwriting talent

Since late 2001 he has been Music Director for Herman’s Hermits Starring
Peter Noone and entertained audiences with his dynamic performance as
lead guitarist. Prior to Herman’s Hermits Vance performed as a solo artist
and with bands at the top clubs in New York City including the Hard Rock
Café, Peppermint Lounge, China Club and Irving Plaza.
Vance’s million seller Monkees hit was the title song from a five song EP that
Vance released with his group, The Mosquitos, in 1985. Vance was lead
vocalist, songwriter and guitarist for The Mosquitos during their run in the
early to mid 80s as one of the most popular club bands in the Long Island
and NYC area.
