@ wkn : The blasting and fast tempoed bass drums aren't so vague in Vvg .

Oh also, I just read his myspace profile and in what he sounds like it says Gorgut's Obscura is one of his favorite death metal albums. I guess my suspicions were correct.

interesting, but not that strange. when i was listening to him perform as he opened for skinny puppy, portions of his music sound like the Gorguts album "Obscura", so this is probably where the vague death metal influence is.

I found a torrent, and the description said it'd be some insane electro-grind, and I guess, there are some grindy parts in it, but who cares, it's awesome anyway.

I've never seen it claimed to be death metal at all; I saw comparisons to Fantomas, Melt Banana and The Boredoms, all of which are decidedly NOT death metal. Rofflophagus.

I just listened to this.. Eww, he tried to claim this was Death Metal?! Listening to this album, you'd think he's never even HEARD a Death Metal song. Well, I suppose I can't expect much from a guy who would willingly involve himself with The Faint. I had high hopes for this.. I feel let down.
