VOF de Kunst is a Dutch Popgroup. The group was founded in 1983 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.
The lead singer is Nol Havens.
From the start they made some dutch pop songs but in the nineties they began with playing children’s songs.
Their first single “Suzanne” was a number 1 hit in The Netherlands. The song also reached the charts in several European countries, now released in a translated version, Susanna. At this moment they toured through Europe where they were known as The Art Company.
Their single “Een kopje Koffie” was also a huge hit in The Netherlands.
In the nineties they made a tribute album to the dutch female writer Annie M.G. Schmidt.
This album contain some songs which lyrics were originally written by Schmidt.
“Dikkertje Dap” is one of the most famous songs released from that album.
