Olivier Moreau (Imminent, Axiome) & John Sellekaers (Dead Hollywood Stars, Xingu Hill) are behind Uruwa. Both are experienced musicians, mostly in the industrial/noise area. Those influences are part of Uruwa.
Their new album “parable of the driver” is described like this: “Olivier Moreau (Imminent) & John Sellekaers (Dead Hollywood Stars, Xingu Hill) make us travel on the deserted roads of an imaginary trip through the USA. Ambient and obsessive feedbacks, astral noises… The call of the wild is here. An egoistic pleasure of solitude turned into madness. This record is evanescent and paranoiac at the same time , fixing a point of no return somewhere in the distance.”
