Upside Down Room was formed in 1990 through a newspaper ad. It consisted of Bruce Lund on Guitars & Vocals, Darryl Mitchell on Bass Guitar and Dave Zavala on Drums. In the next 5 years they independently released 4 tapes and 2 7 inches. In 1995 they were signed by Tooth and Nail Records. They released 2 albums on Tooth and nail : a self-titled EP and Drag, Baby Drag. Around 1996 they released a CD called “Shake, Rattle and Roll”, which contained their previously independent items (cassettes and vinyls). This was done with Brandon Ebels permission. In 1997 they were released off of Tooth and Nail and they produced another 7 inch entitled “Let’s go for a ride” on Velvet Blue Music. Upside Down Room than signed on with Walking Records and released “TV Baby”. The group called it quits in 2001. However, as of 2009 they are back together playing again.
