Upon a Burning Body

Upon A Burning Body was started by accident “A Side project gone wrong.”

These San Antonio, Texas natives mix brutal breakdowns with catchy two steps and heavy blast beats. After changing many members over time, they finally found a concrete line up. They have managed to dominate the Texas metal scene, and earned themselves a signing to the Sumerian Records family. They are known for their intensely brutal and fast sections combined with breakdowns and gang chants to match and top the best in the game. They have also become known for powerful and violent live shows.

    @girlindeath "The World Is Ours" is a great deathcore album. First after this they became shit. "Here Comes the Kraken" were also Deathcore and then become shit. Probably a mexican trend.

    "Red White Green is much better!" - ... even though the new album still sounds a lot like RWG? Oh.

    I thought the new album was good. Some parts even remind me of Slipknot or something of that ilk.

    The new album is very inequal... First tracks are great. Some others are good, but... A few are terrible. Especialy the ones with cheasy clean vocals. "Red. White. Green" is much better !

    This album is the definition of selling out for this kind of music, angsty metalcore with loads of effects, mid-paced djent grooves.......yup. I guess we won't ever get another This World Is Ours ;_;
