Unkle Bob are Rick Webster (vocals, guitar), Stuart Cartwright (vocals, guitar, banjo, mandolin), Ron Yeadon (drums, percussion), Tad MacDonald (bass) and Geoff Widdowson (keyboards). Formed in and around Glasgow University in the last few years, Unkle Bob have an uncanny knack of sounding like they’ve been hanging around your record collection your whole life. Unkle Bob released ‘Put a Record On’ on February 19th 2007. The debut album ‘Sugar and Spite’ is OUT NOW on Friendly Sounds / Mother City - a label set up by Ex-James guitarist Saul Davies and Aaron Moore (Ministry of Sound/ EMI) distributed via Pinnacle. The band will be playing throughout the UK and Europe to support the releases.
