Located in the heart of San Francisco is a legendary music scene known for its hooky rythyms, world-class aggression, and visionary talents. It is called the Bay Area. Over the years, fans have been witness to a multitude of incredible talents that have been spawned from the Bay Area, including the likes of Machine Head, Skinlab, 40 Grit, Systematic, Stitch, 26 MPH, Wurkt, The COuncil and many more acts that are too numerous to name. With the turn of the new millennium upon us, it is time for the return of one of the oldest, yet newest acts to grace our presence. They call themselves Unjust…

Originated in 1990, Unjust was the brainchild of two thirteen year old school friends, vocalist/guitarist Paul Mendoza and guitarist Russell Tabayoyon. Fueled by their youthful vitality & rebellious confidence, Unjust created a stir in the Bay Area music scene, creating a solid reputation for their explosive onstage performances & dynamic appeal. Yet, like a double-edged sword, Unjust received very little press or credibility outside their local music scene due to their age. This merely drove the band to become more determind & focused than ever before. Family, friends, money, nor offers from other bands like the Deftones could deter Unjust from their present course with destiny.

Since, the first album, one of my favourite bands. Old album are a little bit Machine Head meets Faith No More. Their new album are great too, they are more a rock band right now instead of a Metal band with their 2 first albums. I dont understand why they are so low rated, there not many people that known this band. Such a pity, but i dont care. I know this band i love this band! But they never come back to Europe. 1 x they were here in The Netherlands together with Skinlab on Dynamo Open Air 1998 or something, but didnt see them :-( Cant wait to see them.

comastar, you are completely right. i'm surprised about the low rate they have... i've listened to them since 2001. I had just 3 songs, and I found the whole discography a weeks ago, I can't stop listening their album GLOW over and over again...

Way to go, whoever completely misunderstood the genre of progressive rock/metal. "The Part" wasn't all too horrible though, but still (yay for at least one song straying a bit from the formula.. their formula, that is).
