  • The 90's version of Unit:187 was the Angst years, very similar to 16Volt, Acumen Nation, Hate Dept., etc. The end of "Coldwave" so to speak. The new Unit:187 is extremely influenced from Front Line Assembly's new direction on the Angriff album. At times I forget if I am listening to FLA or Unit:187, not that is a bad thing as they do have a cross over of band members based in Vancouver.

  • The new album kicks ass. I'm really enjoying the new sound. Here's hoping they keep it up.
  • It took unusually long for this new one to really sink in for me. But now I listen to it constantly...
  • Bought the new album on a whim...it does take time to sink in, but I'd say it's pretty solid (I do see how fans of their older material would be disappointed with this, though).
  • It's a shame the "Blood for Blood" teaser MP3 that was up on their old site wasn't included in latest album. I can hear some hints of it in "Rolling Vengeance" which probably explains why I've been beating it up the most.
