Staring at the sun is solid emocore, heaps like Freewill and Cortner era Dag Nasty.

Screaming for Change is a classic old-school SxE record of the 80s, a pure gem. Too bad they later produced the terrible 'Staring Into the Sun."

I was around and had their CASSETTE but as GREAT as it was they had already moved on. If you had the tape you saw it. The inside foldout had the cover of the SE guy with the X on hand, shaved head , etc. on the cover but then they had a band pic on the back that had them all with real long hair and leather jackets looking like some heavy metal band and their second album went totally off track. This one is a classic though. You can't hear Scream for a change without getting hyped and wanting to head out on a skateboard and hit a launch ramp and throw down a huge frigid air or judo air, or anything. I miss launch ramps, and real skateboards with SHAPE and different designs. UGH, MInor threat was so right that time is so why is everybody in such a fuckin rush. I miss those days. Even worse is kids today thinkin they are "old school" because they like Good Charlotte or Sum41. Ugh. NJHC rules go skate LOVE park in Philly NOW!!!!I wish I could go back...
