i absolutely love this album but the next one is expected on the 31th of May and i don't know which would be worse: either having a new album not as great as this one (thumbs up for this album, down for the new one), or getting to adore the new album and undermine this one. >.<

"psychoticgothambientprogressivemelodicblackclassicalmedievalelectro- operanoisejazzdeathcircusmetal." is the best tag name I've ever heard. ;D Amazing album though, it's so chaotically good I can't stop listening.

this is avantgarde because there's no better term for it's genre i think, i prefer saying avantgarde than psychoticgothambientprogressivemelodicblackclassicalmedievalelectro- operanoisejazzdeathcircusmetal.

I'm liking this album so far but c'mon, folks. Let's not fool ourselves here; Avant-garde metal is a fictional genre that people like journalists use because they've been misinformed (just like alternative metal and cello rock [so you mean to tell me that because someone uses cello's that that requires an add on? how about industrial violin rock, or xylophone metal? Ridiculous]). By definition, avant garde (no add ons) is the experimentation of multiple genres and then some (as evident in this album). How can something be avant garde if it's confined to one genre?

I agree what AdamAntzx said. Mr. Bungle goes avantgarde-metal. I really can't say if thats a good or a bad thing.

It's great but ffff it feels a teeny bit like Mr Bungle's self-titled album in some places :S
