Absolutely one of the best albums I've ever heard.

I've probably heard this album 100+ times in its entirety by now, but to this day it still sounds inherently fresh and novel. I always come to the songs from a new angle, and each time my experience is unique, and most of all so, so moving. I meditate to this stuff often, its energy is somehow totally in sync with my own. Just the best man, I mean sometimes I listen to other music and it's alright but this is so incredibly amazing. I can't think of a single unsatisfying or dull sections, really I can't say a bad word about it, it's just very very great.

there must really be something to this album. this music is usually too sterile and boring for me. when i listened to it for the first time, i didn't like it at all. well, i try to listen to every album at least 2 or 3 times before making a verdict. i am listening to this for the 4th or 5th time and i still don't know what to think. but i guess i will listen to it more because it definitely grows on me

I never knew this was produced in 1993. Makes me appreciate the album a lot more. Landmark. Sounds like it's from 1995 earliest when you compare it to similar records.

I remember being totally amused by the black and white approach to the cover album. From a musical perspective, it was innovative for the time... and the lyrics... I personally find them very "New York".

This album is quite well-produced. Probably a reference disc for sound systems, if anyone cares about that sort of thing anymore.

Hard to believe this was made in 1993 - consider then how much of today's music sounds retrograde in comparison to this album.
