Personally, I love that Ulver's albums sound so different. Maybe someone loved an earlier album but is bored by this one, but maybe I'm bored by that earlier album and love this one. I hope they keep doing what they're doing.

Not bad, but as with thier previous albums I've expected something extraordinary and unique. So for the time being this is the worst Ulver album. Daniel O'Sullivan, there is the door, now get the f*** out [Picture of Cpt. Picard pointing].

CD rip can be found here: http://www.loadown.org/2011/04/ulver-war-of-roses-2011.html . It took me ages to find one that wasn't a shitty vinyl rip. If you think the production is bad, chances are you have the vinyl rip.

ulver is one of my favourite bands. all ulver (black stuffs also) are amazing except that one. it might be better if that album didn't come after shadows of the sun. sots is the highest point of their career.
