  • New Ulterior album is incredible, way more awesome than Wild in Wildlife!
  • Ulterior are many things, but "new-wave-revival" is most definitely not one of them. And seeing as they've been around for 7 years I don't think they're about to disappear any time soon. And what with The New Thing just being a blog about bands which were around at the same time with a similar sound, which did include Ulterior, you can't really complain about the tag. Beyond the blog it doesn't mean anything.
  • cool, but not the "new thing" as tagged. part of new-wave-revival and going to disappear with it again.
  • I still think Kempers Heads is their best album by far. It's a shame their sound has progressively gotten worse from there.
  • loving the new album! industrial post punk, exactly what I was looking for! the first one was a little too 80s revival for me
