Biography
Isla Vista, California, United States (1989 – 1997, 2010 – present)
The band released three albums, “America’s Least Wanted” (1992), “Menace to Sobriety” (1995) and “Motel California” (1996) before disbanding in 1997.
The band reunited in the summer of 2010, performing at several festivals throughout 2010 and 2011. The band preformed at the 2012 Download Festival.
They have a new record called “Stairway to Hell” released on April 16, 2013. Their official website is http://www.uglykidjoe.net

Yeah. It sounds decent, production wise... has a decent enough radio rock sound, could be Bob Rock as far as I know, can tell it is suited for mainsteam radio play. But first song sounds like an outtake from Janes Addiction, second one sounds like a scrapped track from the last Alice in Chains album, "No One Survives" starts out promising enough, but winds up being just another generic power ballad, can hear this being by Days of the New... nothing about this EP stands out or has anything in the way of originality.... not that UKJ was ever known for that, but they had a stupid charm to them that made more sense in the 90's... now it just sounds boring and cliche.... You got the line up who recorded the first album, and an album that can only really be marked up to nostalgia feeding, as I doubt anyone in recent years was hoping they would come back. Better to feed into the nostalgia than try and be current and sound out of touch.
