• A New Meme - Alan Shore

So I was reading some of the memes out there and I ran across one that I thought was kind of interesting. You were to play your neighbour radio station, list the first ten artist that came up and your feelings about them. I tried it and eh. It was okay. Two artists I didn’t like. One I never heard of but was iffy on and the rest old favorites. So I thought I’d try something I thought was more interesting to me personally. I thought I would do each of my friends radio stations. List the particular song as well as artist and give my reaction to it.

Alan shore was someone I asked to be my friend based on nothing other than the fact than his name nick is Alan Shore. See I have this thing for the ultra liberal sexuallyy twisted Mr. Shore and so there we have it. Anyway onto the radio station and the reactions.

    Alan Shore

    Taste-o-meter: Medium

    1.Love Comes Tumbling Pleasantly surprised.

2.Like Eating Glass New artist to me. It was okay. A little “whiny boy” for my taste.

  • How long to sing this song?

I have the grand total of one weekend in which I don't have to do anything at all. Therefore I decided to give this a try.

I'm going to listen to all the albums by U2 this weekend (except the Best Of's) in chronological (sp?) order and just write down some general brainwaves along the way. So no reviews, just impressions and/or silly ideas. No shuffle just starting with track 1 and than further down the line. I'm curious how far I will get with this.

    Boy
I've always liked this album. Maybe it's because it's their first, maybe because of the enthusiasm behind it: I don't know. It just gives me a great feeling.

Current favorite tracks*: Out of Control, Another Time, Another Place & The Electric Co.

    October
How on earth did they get from Boy to this? Oh, the influence of religious groups... It makes you wonder what would have happened if October was their first album and not Boy. Things might have gone differently then. But anyway, I've said it before already: I like this album. …
