Do You Feel Loved (5:07)
From Pop and 6 other releases
Second track on U2’s 1997 album Pop. This was considered for a single but due to the bands manager booking the PopMart tour before they had had a chance to get to grips with their new songs in a live situation, they dropped the track from the setlist after the first five shows.
Bono in particular wanted to release it as a single, he felt it captured the perfect mood of confused love / lust in the contemporary, “loved up” dance culture scene.
In the liner booklet page for this track the band credit the band Naked Funk for inspiring them, mainly with the rhythm section.

U2 – Do You Feel Loved
Take these hands they're good for nothing
You know these hands never worked a day
Take these boots they're going nowhere
You know these boots don't want to stray
