Tynisha Keli (born Tynisha Keli Soares on July 28, 1985 in Fall River, Massachusetts ) is an R&B/Pop artist who has seen her greatest success in Japan. Tynisha was born in New Bedford, Massacusetts, and is of portuguese descent.

She started her career at the age of 15 when she moved in Los Angeles and landed a spot in the pop girl group Gyrlz Society comprised of four members: Amy Correa, Melissa Tessmer, Tynisha Keli (formerly Tynisha Soares) and Katy Scanlon. The group released one single, the group’s only song “Respect Me”, produced by Damon Jones in 2002 under MCA Records. After the single’s release the self-titled Gyrlz Society album was about to be recored, but the CD was cancelled and the group quickly disbanded.

In 2003 Tynisha signed to Warner Bros. Records, and worked with Kara DioGuardi and different producers such as Brian Michael Cox, Justice League, Tha Corna Boyz, Robin Thicke, Co-stars and many more.

Her first single “I Wish You Loved Me”, was released on iTunes, September 04, 2007. It first appeared on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart on the week of August 09, 2008 and peaked at #13.

In April 2009 she finally released her debut album “The Chronicles of TK”, originally titled “Even If It Takes Forever”.
