With every listen 'Awake' is getting better and better. I've been going from full disappointment to total astonishment, wonderful. [2] !!

Saw them in Cambridge last night, I still am not backing the new songs as much as Dive but the recordings really don't do them justice (the drums especially). They really killed it.

The Awake album has a lot of little details. With each listen I notice more and find more hooks. It gets better and better.

Happy for the success of Dive but imo Sunrise Projector is still his best work.

Not sure if it's because it's the first Tycho album that I heard but I think that he will never top Past is prologue. Dive was ok but a bit forgettable and Awake is in my opinion better than Dive and closer to Past is prologue but like some people already said - it's pretty same old same old. At times I was asking myself "wait am I really listening to the new album, I swear this song is from some of his previous releases". Anyway, he makes good relaxing music.

I was really digging this music in the back of my mind drifting off in a nice understated way and then my friend told me it sounded like the music from the SkyTV menu and I can't take it seriously any more.
