San Francisco's Ty Segall of Epsilons, The Traditional Fools, and Sic Alps fame (as well as a budding and well-received solo career) has joined forces with Los Angeles' Charlie & The Moonhearts main man (and current bassist in Ty Segall Band) Mikal Cronin for a project that combines the overlapping musical aesthetic of both members. They cut a solid and short 7" together called "Pop Song" that shows garage-y, lo-fi, frat rock goodness.

In December 2009, they released their debut LP "Reverse Shark Attack" on Kill Shaman. It keeps with the garage style (and throws in a little of the classic surf of The Traditional Fools), but has an overall strong psychedelic feel to it as well. Absolutely killer.

"Reverse Shark Attack" was reissued in January 2013 on In The Red, along with The Traditional Fools' 2008 album.
