Twilite is an acoustic duo from Poland.
For a long time, the name Twilite was associated with Ireland. There, the band members settled down after a few months of so called “playing” together in Poland - at the very beginning they were composing cooperatively through the internet, one of them in Biskupiec, the other in Cracow. After couple of months of that online cooperation they decided to move to the Green Island so they could make their music side by side.
In Dublin, band members started regular acoustic sessions. Recorded in their home, compositions were successfully published thanks to the help of few kind-hearted souls back in Poland. In May 2008, the Kapsa brothers from Contemporary Noise Quintet invited Milewski and Bawirsz to record materials for their debut album “Bits & pieces” in Electric Eye Studio. This became a compilation of compositions from their past two years living in Dublin. The album was very well received in polish music market and was acclaimed one of the best albums of that year by many critics.
Through the summer, May-July 2009 the band toured with a very warm welcome all across Poland.
26th of May 2010 they released a minialbum - “Else”, just to give their fans a little insight into what direction their music is taking at the moment. New full lenght album is expected to be released at the beginning of 2011.
