Kuopio, Finland (2003 – present)

Turmion Kätilöt (Literally “Midwives of Destruction” or “Midwives of Perdition”) is a Finnish industrial metal band founded in 2003 in Kuopio, Finland, by MC Raaka Pee and DJ Vastapallo. The band consists of six members: MC Raaka Pee, DJ Vastapallo, Spellgoth (who is also the lead vocalist of Trollheim’s Grott), Master Bates, RunQ and DQ. DJ Vastapallo and MC Raaka Pee actually do the music together, the rest of the band plays only at live shows.

The band has a recording contract with Spinefarm Records (specifically Ranka Recordings), and their second full-length album was released on March 29th, 2006.

They released their third full-length album “USCH!” on June 11th, and single for new song called “Minä Määrään!” on May 21th. The album is free to download in mp3 format from their website http://turmion-katilot.info/ (lossless wav format is coming). Or just go to http://raharecords.com

2009 band lost their guitarist DJ Vastapallo and 18.12.09 new guitarist Bobby Undertaker Deathchain was announced.
